Sony Alpha 7S III Mirrorless Full-frame Camera (Only Body)
The Sony Alpha 7S III Mirrorless Full-frame Camera increases the standard for what a full-frame mirrorless camera is capable of, with enhanced video, sensitivity, and speed. Along with UHD 4K 120p video recording and internal 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling, a revamped 12.1MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor, and enhanced BIONZ XR image processor provide quicker performance, greater noise reduction, and a broader dynamic range. With 12.1 effective megapixels15, the newly designed back-illuminated full-frame Exmor RTM CMOS sensor has a reading speed up to twice as fast as the 7S II, as well as great sensitivity and a broad dynamic range. A sophisticated color filter array improves color reproduction accuracy, while focal plane phase-detection AF improves autofocus stability and precision, all of which contribute to exceptional image quality.

12.1MP Exmor RS BSI CMOS Sensor and BIONZ XR Processor
The Sony Alpha 7S III camera boasts a revised 12.1MP full-frame CMOS sensor with a back-illuminated Exmor RS design for greater clarity and noise reduction, as well as the expectedly high sensitivity range of ISO 80-102400 with an increased ISO 40-409600 range. The improved sensor design also results in 2x quicker readout speeds than prior generations, and when combined with the upgraded BIONZ XR image processor, eliminates rolling shutter by 3x and provides up to 8x faster processing and overall camera handling. The sensor and CPU combination also contributes to a broad dynamic range of up to 14 stops for stills and 15 stops for video, as well as 10 frames per second continuous shooting for up to 1000 uncompressed raw files for stills.

Video Recording
The Sony Alpha 7S III Mirrorless Full-frame Camera can record UHD 4K at frame speeds up to 120p using full 1:1 pixel readout without binning. Internal 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling is also supported in all recording modes, and 16-bit raw output is available when recording externally through the full-size HDMI A connection for even greater tone reproduction and post-production versatility. Two codecs have also been developed: XAVC HS, which employs HEVC/H.265 encoding to maintain greater detail at lower bitrates, and XAVC S-I, an intraframe codec providing constant performance and quality at bitrates up to 600 Mb/s.

Recording Flexibility
The high-speed, 120 fps recording enables 4x and 5x slow-motion movie recording with the frame rate playback set to either 30p or 24p or, if moving down to Full HD resolution, an effective 240p frame rate is also available for even greater motion control. Suiting long-form recording, the a7S III does not have any recording time limits to allow for unlimited clip lengths. The camera’s physical design also features an improved heat-dissipating structure to promote longer possible recording times, up to an approximate 60-minute recording time at 4K60p.

Autofocus and Image Stabilization
The Sony Alpha 7S III Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera A Fast Hybrid AF system with 759 phase-detection points and 425 contrast-detection regions covers 92% of the picture area for rapid and precise focusing in a variety of lighting settings with sensitivity down to -6 EV. This focusing method is used in all recording modes, making it useful for both video and still applications. It can also latch onto topics rapidly and employ Real-time Tracking for AI-based tracking on moving subjects or touch tracking for manual subject selection. Real-time Eye AF offers vital sharpness while taking portraits and is ideal for both humans and animals. The seven-step AF transition speed and five-step AF topic shift sensitivity adjustments allow you to fine-tune how rapidly focus switches from point to point and how smoothly focusing transitions occur.

5-Axis SteadyShot INSIDE Image Stabilization
The Sony Alpha 7S III has an improved 5.5-stop effective 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization technology that adjusts for five forms of camera shaking experienced during handheld stills and video shooting. This enables users to comfortably utilize any lens, even adapted lenses, for important images without experiencing blur caused by camera motion. The device will compensate for pitch and yaw modifications for extended focal lengths. The incorporation of horizontal and vertical shift correction, on the other hand, will assist macro and high-magnification pictures. The roll adjustment will be useful for all shooting techniques. Even when using third-party lenses and adapters or lenses with built-in optical stabilization, all 5 axes of stabilization will operate at all times. Additionally, specifically for video, there is also an Active IS mode that adds even more precise stabilization methods for even smoother footage straight out of the camera.

Body Design and Connectivity
A stunning QXGA OLED Tru-Finder EVF with a high 9.44m-dot resolution and 0.9x magnification provide extraordinarily bright, crisp, and detailed eye-level viewing. This viewfinder boasts a dedicated 120 fps High-Quality option for smooth motion rendering, as well as a long 25mm eye point, 41° field of vision, and a fluorine coating on the outermost viewfinder element to aid in cleaning. A side-opening 3.0″ 1.44m-dot vari-angle articulating screen helps work from high and low angles as well as a front-facing position for vlogging or other self-recording purposes, which is a first for a7-series cameras. This LCD also has a touchscreen for easy shooting control and menu navigation. The redesigned menu layout is more user-friendly and compliments having separate processes and settings options for video recording and still photography. The menu system also works in tandem with the back LCD’s touchscreen design.

Ports and Connectivity
The Sony Alpha 7S III Mirrorless Full-frame Camera features a Full-size HDMI A connector, which provides a more dependable connection for dealing with external recorders. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connector, in addition to a micro-USB port, has been added for speedier, more reliable tethering capability. The USB Type-C connector allows the camera to be charged or operated from the host power supply while attached. Both the 3.5mm headphone and external microphone connectors provide more control over audio recording. It contains a Multi Interface Shoe that allows it to function with the optional ECM-B1M Shotgun Microphone or XLR-K3M XLR Adapter Kit, which enables better, clearer audio recording sound by providing a digital audio signal to the camera rather than an analog signal. This camera’s built-in Wi-Fi offers remote camera control and rapid image sharing to mobile devices for direct internet sharing, and compatibility for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands permits wireless tethered shooting. This connection also allows for remote camera operation. To allow 1000BASE-T networking, wired remote shooting, or FTP transmitting, the USB Type-C connector may be combined with an optional Ethernet wired LAN adapter. The Sony Alpha 7S III Mirrorless Full-frame Camera comes with a 03 Years Service Warranty (No parts warranty).
